Sometimes your client will be having a bad day or traffic delays you, but you know not to take this personally and can shake it off before your next client. You'll need to be comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your manager for help.
The role of a Care Worker involves providing home help services such as general housekeeping, making beds, cleaning floors, washing laundry, meal preparation and grocery shopping. You'll also provide personal care services like getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed, assisting with medications, helping with mobility and therapy goals, providing complex care for customers with high care needs, and more.
