Job Description
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with 24/7 operations in a beef production setting. You'll be working in various settings, including agricultural, production, refrigeration, coal-fired boiler rendering, and other areas. Your role will involve preventative and breakdown maintenance activities, with a strong focus on safety, health, and the environment. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting issues and working alongside production team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Trade qualifications – Certificate III in Engineering as a minimum.
* Experience in Maintenance Fitter or Fitter-Mechanic role.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and great diagnostics for fault finding.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent time management skills and communication skills.
* FMCG or manufacturing environment experience highly regarded.
* Beef slaughter process equipment experience highly regarded.
* Drivers license and reliable vehicle, or a reliable means of getting to work.
* Vaccinated (or willing to be) against Q Fever.
