Overview
Street Machine, Australia's leading media outlet for the modified car community, is seeking to add an advertising sales professional. The role is freelance and commission-only, with incentives for securing new business in NSW.
Opportunities to sell include Street Machine print, social, and digital offerings, as well as iconic Street Machine events and activations including Street Machine Drag Challenge, Street Machine of the Year and our Carnage YouTube series. Branded content, custom video production and advertorial products are also in scope.
The successful candidate will have a thick, up-to-date contact book in the automotive aftermarket world and have a proven track record of success in the sales game. Vibe wise, the ideal candidate is creative, collaborative, communicative and loves the hustle.
You'll be working with energised editorial, marketing and sales teams who live & breathe the Street Machine brand, the community around it and the industry that supports it. Street Machine is part of the wider Out There Group, operators of iconic automotive events such as Street Machine Summernats and Meguiar's MotorEx.
Responsibilities
Freelance, commission-only advertising sales for Street Machine in NSW.
Sell Street Machine print, social, and digital offerings, as well as events and activations including Street Machine Drag Challenge, Street Machine of the Year, and Carnage YouTube.
Develop and manage a pipeline of new business and existing client relationships.
Collaborate with editorial, marketing and sales teams to deliver branded content, video, and advertorial products.
Qualifications
Strong, up-to-date contact book in the automotive aftermarket world (to be tested).
Proven track record of success in sales.
Creative, cooperative, and effective communication skills; self-motivated and proactive.
Ability to work in NSW and manage freelance, commission-based engagements.
