Games Volunteer – Card Companionship at Waratah Residential Aged Care
Rummy, poker, bridge, snap or go fish... if you enjoy a game or two, this role is made for you!
As a Games Volunteer, you'll bring fun, connection, and friendly competition to older residents at Mason Residential Frail Aged Care Home. We're looking for someone who's happy to sit down, shuffle a deck, and spend time with a resident whose favourite pastime is a good old‐fashioned card game.
Your visits offer more than entertainment — they create meaningful engagement, spark conversation, and brighten someone's day through simple, shared moments over the card table.
If you love cards and enjoy companionship, this is a lovely way to make a real difference.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

* 18 years and over
* National Volunteer Police Check
* NDIS screening arranged and paid for by HammondCare
