The Role
Full Time Registered Nurse based in Young. You will be working across AM and PM shifts
Responsibilities
Carry out the initial and on-going assessment, planning and management of nursing care for residents
Develop personal care plans that ensure the individual needs of residents are identified and met, and be aware of changes in care plans
Participate in their quarterly care plan evaluation, or more regularly as required
Ensure that all documentation required by and related to the provision of quality care for all residents is prepared, maintained, monitored, evaluated and up to date in accordance with SCC policies and procedures
Ensure completion and accuracy of all ACFI claims
Requirements
Registered Nurse (Division 1) with general AHPRA registration
Minimum 2-year experience as an RN within Aged Care
Ability to set and maintain high standards in the provision of quality care and support services
Ability to provide quality care and support to frail aged people
Sound understanding of relevant State and Commonwealth legislation as it applies to Aged Care Providers
Availability to work a variety of shifts which may include morning, afternoon, night and weekend shifts
Understanding of ANACC, including assessments, documentation and funding submissions
