Modern Workplace Engineer. Physically based in Canberra.
Due to the nature of our clients, this role is open to Australian citizens with a minimum of a Baseline security clearance.
About the role:-
As a Modern Workplace Engineer at Digital61, you are to provide high quality development, design, implementation, and documentation of technical solutions to meet the scope of client requirements.
* Operate in a hybrid platform environment with on-premises platform and Azure Cloud.
* Enable change to help customers transition to Azure Cloud for relevant components of the architectural roadmap.
* Work with our customers to develop and implement modern workplace components including modern desktop SOE and utilise the Microsoft365 components for collaboration and productivity, including SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform.
* Routinely operates in a multi-faceted customer environment, providing advice, guidance, and technical implementation capabilities across multiple customers in their area of knowledge and expertise.
* Be committed to customer satisfaction, accountability, ownership, and unwavering customer focus.
* Communicate the values of Digital61 services in a way that resonates with all levels of the customer’s organisation.
* Explain the Digital61 value proposition to external people and organisations that would benefit from the deployment of services or solutions they have previously provided.
Tech Stack:
* Broad knowledge of Microsoft cloud offerings (Exchange, Azure, Entra, Purview, Intune, Teams - rapidly learning about Copilot/Copilot Studio administration)
* Focus on Intune device management/troubleshooting (Enrolment/configuration of Windows/Android/iOS devices, app packaging/deployment/patching, analytics and reporting on device/app fleet)
* Defender/Endpoint (Device control, CVE investigation and remediation)
* Familiarity with configuring SSO/SCIM for SAAS applications (troubleshooting when the vendors documentation is non-existent)
* Passable knowledge in Powershell, KQL and interacting with code repos (Graph API familiarity is highly valuable in the modern desktop space)
* Passable knowledge in Sharepoint (For CER this is mostly just assisting their Sharepoint admin with ad-hoc connector management/troubleshooting)
* MECM/SCCM (SOE configuration, Task Sequence configuration/management)
* Active Directory and Group Policy (Configuration/Management/Troubleshooting)

* Able to provide clients and internal staff with written documentation
