Overview of the Role:
Our organization is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Campus Chaplain to join our team in Warwick. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing holistic care and support to residents, family members, and staff across our campus services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide confidential emotional and spiritual support to clients, families, and staff.
* Partner with managers to foster a Jesus-centred campus through services and programs.
* Help staff create a welcoming, homelike environment for residents.
* Share pastoral insights as part of the multidisciplinary care team.
* Build and lead a strong volunteer team in partnership with local churches and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate IV in Pastoral Care, Chaplaincy, Christian Ministry, or a relevant equivalent qualification.
* A minimum of three years' experience in providing pastoral care or chaplaincy services within a health or community environment.
* Eligibility for endorsement as a Ministering Person with Churches of Christ in Queensland.
* Demonstrated ability to model a missional lifestyle, communicate Christian beliefs effectively within the Australian context, and exhibit servant leadership qualities.
