Purchasing Coordinator Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent Excel skills and a strong sense of urgency.
This role involves coordinating the administration for the fast-paced purchasing department, ensuring accurate visibility of stocks and availability to customers.
The successful candidate will assist in the continued development and success of buying and data management processes.
* Respond to internal requests for product outsourcing and prepare purchase orders according to company policies.
* Confirm purchase orders with suppliers, including price, delivery date, quantity, and unit of measure.
* Track and expedite purchase orders by working with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
* Maintain purchase orders within the ERP system to support operational requirements.
* Utilize Excel extensively to produce reports and analyze data.
Key Qualifications:
* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong sense of urgency and responsibility.
* Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn bespoke systems.
