Finance Manager / Senior Management Accountant
The Opportunity
Perigon Group is partnering with an award-winning property development and construction business headquartered on the Gold Coast to appoint a Finance Manager.

Reporting directly to the GM Finance, you'll work closely with the Developments Manager and ownership group and lead an Assistant Accountant. This is a role for someone who wants to build something, not just maintain it.
Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly management accounts across multiple development entities and JV structures
* Own cashflow forecasting – funding compliance, loan drawdowns, interest calculations and lender reporting
* Maintain GL integrity, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting workpapers through month‐end and year‐end close
* Feasibility modelling, project cost tracking, cost‐to‐complete analysis, and scenario and sensitivity modelling
* Track project profitability and financial performance across the development portfolio
* Establish and maintain robust financial processes, controls and governance frameworks
* Lead and support an Assistant Accountant
* Cross‐collaborate with the broader finance team
Skills & Experience
* CA/CPA qualified, or actively working towards
* 3–6+ years' experience in property development, construction, or project‐based finance
* Strong Excel and financial modelling capability, particularly cashflow
* Commercially minded with a structured, compliance‐focused approach
* Confident managing multiple entities and stakeholders simultaneously
* Open to strong candidates from outside the construction sector
