TRS Resourcing is currently sourcing and screening experienced Trade Qualified Boilermakers / Fabricators for a day shift workshop opportunity based in Melbourne's Western Suburbs.
This role offers the chance to join a highly regarded engineering and fabrication workshop delivering precision‐manufactured components across defence, infrastructure, transport, and industrial projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for fabricators with strong MIG and TIG welding capability who enjoy workshop‐based fabrication work within a professional and safety‐focused environment.
The initial assignment is expected to run for a minimum of 26 weeks, with the potential to transition into a permanent full‐time position for the right candidate.
Pay Rate
* $58.00 Per Hour + Super
* Overtime available
* Weekly pay cycle
Key Responsibilities
* Fabrication and assembly of engineered metal components
* Reading and interpreting workshop and engineering drawings
* MIG and TIG welding to a high standard
* Working autonomously and within a fabrication team
* Maintaining quality and safety standards within the workshop
To Be Successful, You Will Need
* Trade qualification in Boilermaking / Fabrication
* Strong MIG and TIG welding experience
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Excellent fabrication and mechanical aptitude
* Ability to prioritise tasks and work unsupervised
* Current working rights within Australia
* Be currently based in Melbourne, Victoria
* Contactable references from previous employers
