About the Company
An established and highly regarded commercial construction company is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their collaborative tendering team based on the Central Coast.
Working closely with the Estimating Manager in a strong team-oriented environment, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional looking to contribute to a diverse range of commercial projects within a supportive and well-structured business.

The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
* Completing cost plans and budgets for feasibility studies and concept design
* Preparing detailed Scope of Works documentation for subcontractor pricing
* Conducting site inspections and liaising with clients, consultants and building users
* Measuring and preparing detailed tender estimates
* Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers during tender preparation
* Reviewing and analysing subcontractor quotations
* Preparing detailed project cost estimates reflecting true project delivery costs
* Completing risk and opportunity assessments for tenders
* Preparing tender clarifications and supporting documentation
* Assisting with construction methodologies and tender programs
* Completing tender forms and associated submission documentation
* Assisting with project construction budgets and procurement processes
* Supporting Project Managers with pricing and valuation of variations
* Providing detailed handovers to delivery teams for awarded projects
* Assisting with additional tendering and business development tasks as required

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
* Previous experience in commercial construction estimating
* Strong understanding of tendering processes and construction methodologies
* Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
* Experience working across multiple tenders and deadlines
