We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Team Leader to join our established and growing family‐owned event hire business. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced event industry professional who is looking to take ownership of their role, lead a team of dedicated crew, and grow alongside a company with ambitious plans.

We offer a wide range of hire products including marquees, flooring, lighting, furniture, and staging, and are known for our can‐do approach, great workplace culture, and exceptional customer service.

The Opportunity

The Senior Team Leader will oversee the daily operational functions of the business, manage a small team, and play a pivotal role in shaping operational strategy as we enter our next phase of growth. This is a leadership role with significant autonomy, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‐paced environment and is eager to make a meaningful impact while learning new skills.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and participate in the installation of marquees and associated equipment, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‐quality setups for events, weddings, and corporate functions.

Oversee the delivery, setup, and pack‐down of event furniture and hire equipment, while managing day‐to‐day warehouse operations including picking, packing, and maintaining returned stock.

Lead and manage operational teams across warehousing, logistics, and event delivery, implementing efficient processes and systems to support performance and growth.

Be responsible for inventory management, scheduling, and quality assurance, ensuring all hire services are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Working closely with the Operations Manager, General Manager and business owner, you will contribute to strategic planning while fostering a positive, high‐performance team culture.

Minimum 1‐2 years' experience in event setup or warehouse operations required.

Key Attributes and Experience

Proven experience in operations management and marquee installations preferably within event hire, logistics, or a related industry.

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate small teams effectively.

Strong organisational, problem‐solving, and communication skills.

A hands‐on approach to problem solving and self‐motivated with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.

Current Driver's Licence (Medium Rigid licence highly regarded but not essential).

A desire to grow professionally within a dynamic and evolving business.
