At Hohns Anything Metal, we're looking for an experienced and skilled Light Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a key member of the fabrication department, you will be responsible for the production of high-quality sheet metal components.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate hand tools, machines, and equipment to produce high-quality sheet metal components.
* Work from drawings and specifications to assemble and fabricate complex components with attention to detail.
* Maintain quality control of products and ensure proper equipment operation.
* Collaborate with other team members to complete sub-assemblies efficiently.
Requirements:
* A trade qualification in light sheet metal fabrication is required.
* Experience working with stainless, aluminum, and Colorbond materials is essential.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to read technical drawings are necessary.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication techniques and be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
