Hamilton Island is seeking an experienced Head Baker to take charge of Bob's Bakery, the island's premier bakery located on Front Street with stunning marina views. Bob's Bakery serves premium artisanal breads, savory delights, pastries, and fresh sandwiches to both our guests and island restaurants. This is an incredible opportunity to bake in paradise while leading a dedicated team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Your Role
Full-time, permanent, live-on-island position
Lead and mentor a small team to create high-quality baked goods from scratch
Produce a wide range of artisan breads, croissants, pastries, pies, and savoury items
Manage high-volume bread and pastry production for both the bakery and island restaurants
Ensure consistency, quality, and creativity in all bakery products
What We're Looking For
Trade-qualified Baker with a Certificate III in Bakery
Experience in artisan bread and gourmet pastry making
Leadership skills – ability to inspire and manage a team in a fast-paced kitchen
Strong attention to detail and a passion for high-quality baked goods
Self-motivated, positive attitude, and impeccable presentation
Driver's license required
