As a General Manager Clinical Governance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centred care across all services.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of demonstrated experience in a senior nursing role, preferably in aged care, dementia, palliative care, older persons' mental health, or related fields.
You will lead the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide Clinical Governance Strategy aligned to the new Aged Care Act requirements, ensuring consistent, evidence-based care across all Care Units.
In this role, you will also chair the Clinical Governance Committee and Quality Care Advisory Body, supporting the Board Quality, Safety, and Care Sub-Committee with expert clinical advice.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing clinical policies aligned with legislation, standards, and the organization's principles
* Ensuring privacy, consent, and ethical standards are upheld across services
* Maintaining active clinical practice to ensure contemporary knowledge and credibility
This is a permanent full-time position based at St Leonards; however, the role has flexibility to work out of any of our HammondCare sites within NSW.
This role may require travel to our sites from time to time.
