About the Opportunity
As the Nurse Manager for ED, Acute, and Aged Care at Hay Hospital, you will lead a dedicated multidisciplinary team and oversee the operational and clinical functions of the service.
This role offers operational autonomy, strong local leadership support, and the opportunity to shape service delivery in a rural environment.
You will:
Provide clinical and professional leadership to ensure safe, evidence-based, high-quality care
Oversee governance including incidents, risk management, compliance, and continuous improvement
Lead service planning, workforce coordination, and resource management
Drive quality outcomes through audits, patient feedback, and staff engagement
Model MLHD's CORE values and foster a positive, accountable team culture

About You
You will bring:
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Leadership experience in a clinical or managerial role
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A commitment to quality, safety, and person-centred care
A genuine interest in rural health and leading multidisciplinary teams
