Do you enjoy managing complex cases such as GDVs, snake envenomations, tick paralysis, and trauma — but want the support of ECC specialists and a full referral team to deliver the best possible patient outcomes?
Peninsula Vet Emergency & Referral Hospital is seeking experienced ECC Veterinarians to join our multidisciplinary team on either a 3–6 month locum contract or casual basis, depending on your availability and preferences.
You'll be working in a true referral environment where emergency cases are exactly that — emergencies. Our hospital integrates ECC, surgery, anaesthesia, and an attached GP clinic, offering a diverse and rewarding caseload.

* 24/7 emergency and referral services across ECC, surgery, and anaesthesia

About You
* 3+ years of emergency practice experience (preferred)
* Confidence managing emergency presentations and performing emergency procedures (or strong motivation to develop these skills with specialist support)
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
* A genuine passion for ECC and high-quality patient care
* Interest in teaching and mentoring is welcomed — we are a University of Melbourne core rotation site
