The Role
We have an opportunity at our Tomago site for an experienced & motivated Mechanical Designer to join our Specialised Vehicles Division. This is a unique opportunity to work on industry leading projects, in which you will:
* Produce detailed CAD models, manufacturing and "as built" drawings to industry best standards.
* Provide design solutions to support the full product development lifecycle.
* Plan, organise, and manage personal workload to meet schedule commitments.
* Maintain high standards of timekeeping, documentation, and professional communication.
* Provide input into tender responses, estimates, and quotations.
* Liaise with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to support project workflows.
To be considered for this role you will:
* Substantial experience providing mechanical design solutions and project support.
* Demonstrated experience in the successful implementation of relevant standards such as Australian Engineering and Technical standards.
* Knowledge of Hydraulic & Electrical Circuits.
* Inventor/Vault CAD experience preferred.
