ICT Support Technician – Part-Time (FTE 0.8)
Providence Christian College is a co-educational, non-denominational K-12 college with over **** students in Southern River.
The IT Department supports our vision by providing essential technological assistance to the college community.

Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to helpdesk tickets, phone calls and walk-up support requests.
Resolve device, login, access and connectivity issues across College platforms, including Google Chromebooks, Windows 11 devices, macOS systems, printing and basic network access.
Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the IT Operations Coordinator.
Assist with device imaging, deployment, collection and lifecycle management.
Support Windows, macOS and ChromeOS devices used by staff and students.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset and inventory records.
Provide day-to-day support for Audio Visual equipment and printers in classrooms and offices.
Assist with the setup of IT and AV equipment for College events, including occasional work outside standard hours.
Follow established IT procedures for support, documentation and escalation.
Maintain clear records of support activities in the helpdesk system.
Contribute to updating user guides, knowledge base articles and documentation.
Assist with onboarding of staff and students, ensuring appropriate access to IT systems.
Provide basic instruction on technology use as required.
Undertake additional duties as directed by the IT Operations Coordinator.

Essential Knowledge and Experience
Familiarity with ChromeOS, Windows and macOS environments.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common IT access and device issues.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Professionalism and a clear customer service orientation.
Accuracy and attention to detail in record keeping and asset management.
Ability to follow IT procedures, documentation and escalation protocols.
Commitment to the Christian educational ethos of the College.
Desirable
Previous experience in an educational environment.
Exposure to device lifecycle processes and asset management systems.
Progress towards a Certificate IV or Diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
Qualifications
Certificate III in Information Technology (or equivalent experience).
Current Working With Children Card.
Current National Police Clearance issued within the last 3 months.
Additional Requirements
Completion of the National Principles of Child Safe Modules if not already done.
Right to live and work in Australia; VEVO checks will be conducted.
