About The Role
* Rates: $39.76ph plus penalties (rate X 1.5 after 8 hours, rate X 2.0 after 10 hours).
* You will be based at our Dalby Concrete Plant reporting to the Plant Manager.
* Most days will start between 4/6am and drivers can do up to and over 8 hours per day, and around 40-50 hours per week. Saturday work is generally available, paid at overtime rates
* Monthly travel may be required within the region, meals/accommodation is supplied.
* As we mentioned, driving an Agi is like being a Customer Service Agent on wheels. You will be dealing with lots of different personalities every day, so you need to be comfortable interacting with people you haven't met before
* We provide cutting edge technology to not only keep you safe whilst driving, but also to help you map your routes and keep track of your loads.
* All new starts go through a 10-day training program before we let you loose by yourself.
About You
* Minimum of HR license (essential) with previous driving experience (preferred)
* You enjoy meeting people and having a chat with them when you're onsite
* You prefer variety in your working life. No two days are ever the same when you're driving one of our Agi trucks
* You take pride in the appearance of your truck. Keep it clean, give it a wash and present the best image of our company. You are a mobile billboard and people notice a dirty truck
* Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Heidelberg Materials sites)
