Job Summary
Join as a part-time Sonographer in Ingham, managing various ultrasound procedures, working independently, and supporting junior staff in a scenic North Queensland location.
Role and Location
Permanent Sonographer – will consider locums. North Queensland, near Townsville.
Responsibilities
* Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures in a private practice, including general, small parts, vascular, MSK, and pregnancy scans.
* Work independently and as part of a team, manage work efficiently, and accommodate urgent cases.
* Support junior staff with training and supervision where applicable.
Qualifications
* Current ASAR registration and CPR certificate (preferred).
* Proficient in ultrasound procedures: General, Small parts, Vascular, MSK, Pregnancy.
* Experience supervising and training junior staff.
Schedule & Compensation
* Flexible part-time schedule: minimum of 2 days per week, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, with coverage for leave when needed.
* Competitive pay: $55–$60 per hour, negotiable based on experience.
* 5 weeks of annual leave; relocation assistance including initial accommodation support.
