A Bit About the Role
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide their services to support clinical oversight and ensure best-practice standards in the management and storage of medicines within a number of clinics in our aesthetic network. As the Nurse Practitioner, you'll be responsible for maintaining compliance with regulatory and pharmaceutical guidelines and offering clinical leadership across multiple locations. Your involvement will help uphold the integrity and safety of medicine use in aesthetic care, ensuring high standards are consistently maintained across your clinics. While we are ideally looking for someone to join us in a permanent part-time capacity, we are also open to exploring alternative engagement models or contracting relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the approved practitioner for key pharmaceutical partners, authorising medicine order submissions and managing the purchase of cosmetic medicines for clinics where you are physically practicing.
Audits & Compliance:
* Conduct regular in-clinic audits to ensure strict adherence to S4 medicine management protocols, including thorough stock checks, verification of secure storage (such as cupboard locks), visibility and correct application of protocols, and accurate use of the medicine register.
Regulatory Oversight:
* Act as both the medicines store establisher and manager, ensuring all medicine storage meets manufacturer specifications and complies with relevant regulatory requirements.
What you'll need?
* AHPRA-registered Nurse Practitioner with interest in cosmetic or aesthetic medicine.
* Detail-oriented, organised, and compliant with medicine regulations.
* Available to commit to clinic visits and responsive to operational needs.
