Job Overview
We seek an experienced and skilled Fixed Plant Fitter to join our team in the Goldfields region. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing processing equipment to ensure continuous production, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain and repair fixed plant equipment, including crushers, conveyors, mills, pumps, and other mechanical systems.
2. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring optimal performance and reducing downtime.
3. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, conduct fault diagnosis, and complete repairs efficiently and safely.
4. Assist with the installation, alignment, and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
5. Carry out shutdown work, including rebuilds, component replacements, and inspections.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A trade certificate in Mechanical Fitting or a related field.
* Experience in mechanical fitting, with a strong focus on preventative and corrective maintenance.
* Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, hoists, jacks, hand and power tools, and CMMS systems.
* High-Risk Work Licences, Confined Space, and Working at Heights certifications.
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with other trades and stakeholders.
