Emergency Physician – Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service
Contribute to the delivery of responsive, coordinated care in a busy emergency department. Based at Toowoomba Hospital, you'll support patients across a wide range of presentations, contribute to clinical governance, and help guide junior staff. What Your Day Will Look Like
You'll assess and treat patients, liaise with other departments and services, and contribute to the smooth operation of the ED, Short Stay Unit and Clinical Decision Unit. You'll participate in audits, support education, and help shape care processes. Whether managing a trauma case or mentoring a junior colleague, your work will reflect the values of compassion, integrity and courage that guide Darling Downs Health.
Remuneration & Benefits
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $554,973 (L27) comprising salary rates between $****** (L18) and $****** p.h. (L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, emergency department specialty allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover, private practice arrangements, superannuation (up to *****%) and annual leave loading (17.5%).
