Your Role An exciting opportunity exists for a Outdoor Education Instructor to join the staff of Chaverim Outdoor Education and Environment Centre. This is a term-time (38hpw) continuing position, with the commencement to be negotiated with the successful applicant. The Outdoor Education Instructor will work under the guidance of the Outdoor Education Centre Director, ensuring the effective operation of programs at Chaverim Outdoor Education and Environment Centre. This role involves maintaining equipment management systems and facilitating a variety of outdoor activities tailored to students, visiting schools, and corporate visitors. You will play a key role in program development, implementation, and evaluation while promoting safety, confidentiality, and respect within the educational environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. The ability to work well either individually or collaboratively as part of a team, and to accept direction and support. The ability to adapt and be flexible within a dynamic educational setting.
