Overview

The Role: Our rotational program offers early career occupational therapists the opportunity to gain experience across acute, sub-acute and community settings, with high quality supervision and regular professional development. You will be welcomed by peers from across Australia and supported by senior occupational therapists and clinical leads as your career progresses.

Occupational Therapists who are graduating in 2025, through to those with several years of experience, are encouraged to apply. If you are within your first year of graduation, you may join our Allied Health Graduate Program, offering interprofessional learning, peer support and mentoring opportunities.

As a service of over 90 dedicated staff, we are proudly connected to the Royal Hobart Hospital, the largest teaching hospital in Tasmania. Details of appointment

Permanent full-time, day worker position, 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar vacancies (full-time, part-time, or casual).


Salary

$73,834 to $111,364 per annum. Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

* Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022.


Salary Packaging

You'll have access to salary packaging with a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 for meal entertainment each FBT year, plus other eligible benefits.

Eligibility

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.

* Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Occupational Board of Australia
* Registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia

* Registration/licences that are essential must remain current and valid at all times and may be checked during employment. It is the employee\'s responsibility to maintain current registration/licences and notify the employer of changes.
