Senior Regional Manager Melbourne Australia Base Salary: $88,000 / OTE: $182,000 Times Higher Education is the data provider underpinning university excellence in every continent across the world. About the role This position involves understanding an institutions’ needs and challenges, creating innovative solutions across multiple service streams, and ensuring the successful delivery of these solutions. You will drive revenue growth by developing strategic sales initiatives and managing client relationships. You will be responsible for expanding our client base in Australia and New Zealand, deepening relationships with existing partners, and positioning THE’s suite of services and products to universities, governments, and corporates. You will work towards developing regional expertise of the territories you manage including knowledge of higher education policies. The company achieves high customer satisfaction levels, and you must possess exceptional interaction skills, clear communication methods, a strong sense of integrity, and a personable nature in order to deliver a superb client experience. Key Responsibilities Manage pre-existing and new partner accounts within Australia and New Zealand; understand their needs and challenges in achieving their strategic goals. Build relationships from the ground up; find, engage and nurture client base Create innovative and holistic solutions across multiple service streams (consultancy, data, branding, events) that meet your clients’ needs. Develop compelling proposals, including pricing, deliverables, timelines Monitor and analyse regional market conditions, government policies, competitive landscape, and industry trends to identify new opportunities Actively promote THE’s products and services to clients through presentations, product demonstrations, and client meetings. Maintain a tenacious approach to target achievement whilst remaining tactful and sensitive to client needs and expectations. Desirable Attributes Good prioritization, project management skills and ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport. Work experience in a client-facing role such as sales, business development, account management (or equivalent) is desirable Knowledge and understanding of the global higher education sector including government policies for higher education is beneficial A university degree in any field Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Positive attitude and willingness to receive feedback and grow professionally Willing to work irregular hours and travel domestically within Australia and some international travel You do You You do You.
