What You'll Be Doing
* Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
* Work with Partners to provide tax planning and advisory services to clients
* Assist with staff training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
* Lead and review the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
* Lead and review the preparation of FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
* Take ownership of a portfolio of clients and delivering high‐quality advice
* Develop and manage client relationships, providing expert advisory service and solutions to add long‐term value
* Build, lead and develop a team, including mentoring and setting direction
* Work closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities and drive growth
* Work closely with the bookkeeping team to drive further value for clients
Who This Role Is For
* 5+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
* Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
* Expertise in accounting software like Xero, Xero Practice Manager, MYOB and Class
* Strong Office365 skills with the ability to pick up new software packages quickly
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proactive, adaptable and comfortable taking ownership
* Interested in leadership and motivated by building and mentoring a team
