Overview
St Monica's College is a Catholic co-educational College (Years 7 - 12) serving the northern suburbs of Melbourne and is governed under the authority of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Limited (MACS).
Our College operates on three metropolitan campuses in Epping and Reservoir and a rural campus, Ostia, in Strath Creek for spiritual retreat. Epping campuses are within walking distance of each other and the Epping train station.
A vacancy exists for either a part time (4 days per week) or full time, Teacher of Materials Technology (Years 7, 8 & 9). This is a contract position commencing immediately for the remainder of the school year. Possible ongoing employment.
Candidates must have the ability to plan, work and learn in a team environment. They must also have excellent classroom management skills and have a commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education and contemporary pedagogies.
Skills/Experience
- Bachelor/Masters of Education
- A strong commitment to Catholic Education
- An ability to develop and maintain qualified and caring relationships with students, parents and colleagues
- An ability to create an engaging, educational and challenging learning environment that caters for the needs of all students

Special Requirements

- The successful applicant will hold the Victorian Institute of Teaching registration

Salary for this position is based on experience in accordance with the Teacher scale of the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA) as varied from time to time.
