Salary: $73,500 to $76,000 per annum plus Superannuation

Stellarossa Nerangis currently seeking a full-time Chef to join our dynamic and talented team. Located in the vibrant suburb of Nerang, QLD, our café is known for its exceptional coffee and fresh, seasonal menu.
As a Chef at Stellarossa Nerang, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring the highest quality and presentation. You will work closely with the owners to develop new menu items and maintain the quality of our current offerings. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing inventory and ordering supplies, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will have a strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards, and be able to work efficiently under pressure. You will also have a creative flair and a passion for experimenting with new flavors and techniques.
Key responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications
* Work closely with the Head Chef and Manager to develop new menu items
* Ensure the highest quality and presentation of all dishes
* Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
* Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
* Train and supervise junior kitchen staff
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth service
Requirements:
* Previous 1 year experience as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Creative flair and passion for experimenting with new flavors and techniques
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
* Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery/Kitchen Management or above is (preferred)
