Situated in the heart of the city centre, the hotel occupies 4 floors of a 12-storey building with views to the You Yangs and Wyndham Harbour. The hotel features 150 guest rooms, gym, garden courtyard, all-day dining, and modern conference spaces.
 * Oversee daily food and beverage operations, including front-of-house activities, for seamless service and guest satisfaction.
 * Coaching colleagues, leading operational outlets, and developing people through check-in conversations, probationary reviews, and annual performance reviews.
 * Respond to guest complaints, solicit feedback, and build relationships driving continuous improvements in guest satisfaction.
 * Ensure health, safety, and sanitation regulations compliance, including food handling and alcohol service standards.
 * Roster colleagues based on business forecasts, manage labor costs, and optimise shift efficiency.
 * Implement company policies, such as cash handling, upselling techniques, and customer service protocols.
 * Set up, execute, and break down conference spaces, including catering and beverage services tailored to client specifications.
 * Lead by example, be the point of contact for guests during their dining experience.
 * Deliver high-standard Food and Beverage service by welcoming guests, recognising return guests, and providing genuine warmth and thoughtful hospitality.
 * Go above and beyond for guests and clients, understanding their needs and making their experience memorable.
A team player with a positive attitude and strong drive for results, engaging interpersonal skills, and excellent communication skills are required.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail in event planning and execution, are necessary.
Planning ahead, adapting to operational situation changes, and exceptional customer service skills are essential.
Experience in a high-volume restaurant, hotel dining, or event catering environment is preferred.
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety procedures, and contributing to a positive team culture are key responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in the food and beverage industry, with knowledge of food and beverage operations, including service standards, menu planning, inventory management, and event catering.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team, are required.
