Electronics Technician – Manufacturing & Assembly Gold Coast Full-time | Permanent Role Our client is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join their team, specialising in advanced water treatment technology across residential and commercial applications. For over two decades, our client has been a leader in water sanitation solutions, developing award-winning and patented disinfection technologies. Their Australian-built products are backed by a dedicated research team, ensuring high-performance solutions tailored to Australian conditions. The Role This is a technical, assembly, and support-focused position requiring expertise in electronics, assembly, wiring, and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products meet high-quality standards while providing technical support to customers. Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 Super Key Responsibilities: Manufacturing & Assembly Assemble electronic components and equipment to precise specifications Wiring, soldering, and test circuit boards to ensure optimal functionality Conduct PLC programming and system integrations where required Testing, Fault Finding & Repairs Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electronic devices and equipment Perform board-level repairs and component replacements Conduct quality control checks, ensuring all products meet performance and safety requirements Technical Support & Customer Liaison Assist customers with product commissioning and troubleshooting Provide warranty support and repairs, both in-house and occasionally on-site Work closely with the sales and service teams to address technical challenges Process & Compliance Read, interpret, and prepare schematics and wiring diagrams Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to workplace health & safety regulations Support stock control and inventory management related to electronic components Provide reports and updates to management on KPIs and product performance What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will have: Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent qualification) Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills in electronic devices Experience in PLC programming (preferred) Proficiency in using electronic test equipment such as multi-meters and oscilloscopes Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams Hands-on experience in assembly, wiring, and soldering Strong communication skills to liaise with customers and internal teams Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team A valid driver’s license (preferred, for occasional in-field service work) Why Join Our Client?
