The Opportunity
Step into a pivotal role in Darling Downs Health's Critical Care Ward, where you'll deliver specialist care to patients with complex and life‐threatening conditions. This position blends clinical leadership, teaching, and service innovation—ensuring outstanding patient outcomes while shaping the future of healthcare delivery.
You'll
* Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and life‐saving interventions.
* Mentor registrars and residents, fostering a thriving learning environment.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive excellence in patient‐centred care.
* Engage in teaching and research through the University of Queensland.
* Contribute to clinical governance, innovation, and service improvements.
What You'll Bring
* Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM) or equivalent
* Current registration with AHPRA (Specialist)
* Demonstrated expertise in Critical Care/ICU
* Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
* Commitment to clinical governance, education, and research
