About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated professionals to fill permanent vacancies within our Maternal and Child Health program in Ballarat.
The team provides high-quality services to families in the community, working collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to achieve shared goals.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and other professionals, and a current registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse and a registered midwife.
You will also need a recognised postgraduate Maternal and Child Health qualification to meet employment requirements, a current Victorian driver's licence, Working with Children and police check.
A position in the MCH team will involve working from one of the six integrated sites across Ballarat, which are predominantly co-located early learning hubs.
Selection Criteria:
* Appropriate qualification and current registration
* Demonstrated practice based on respect for clients, self, and colleagues
* Ability to communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and other professionals
* Demonstrated experience and understanding of evidence-based practice in Maternal and Child Health including Key Age and Stage Universal Maternal and Child Health
* Specialised knowledge of child health and development, women's health, and family violence
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage own workload
* Demonstrated commitment to networking and liaison with key community organisations and Government departments
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team framework responding to changing family needs and service delivery requirements
* Familiarity with computer software and Maternal and Child Health specific database
