Assistant Project Officer – Learning and Development
Location: Parramatta, Coffs Harbour or Dubbo with access to hybrid working arrangement.Full time ongoing opportunity (35 hours per week).Salary from $99,938 to $110,271 pa, plus super and annual leave loading.

Your role
At the Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO), our purpose is to ensure every Aboriginal person in NSW has equal access to safe, affordable housing. We partner with Aboriginal communities to deliver programs, services and initiatives that support strong families, thriving communities and better outcomes for Aboriginal people.
What You'll Do
* Update and maintain project plans, registers, trackers and other project management documentation.
* Draft and refine project documents, reports and status updates for stakeholders.
* Compile project resources and materials to support project delivery.
* Follow up with internal and external stakeholders to keep project activities on track.
* Support project decision‐making by gathering information and preparing supporting documentation.
* Assist with rolling out communications related to learning and development initiatives.
* Ensure project activities align with compliance requirements and agreed project methodologies.
* Coordinate meetings including preparing agendas, compiling meeting packs, taking notes and tracking attendance.
* Provide project support to assist the team with day‐to‐day coordination tasks.
* Work collaboratively with team members and actively seek feedback to support continuous improvement.

* Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to monitor tasks, follow up on actions and ensure work progresses in line with agreed timelines.
* Able to work effectively in a fast‐paced team environment with multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
* Well‐developed communication skills, including the ability to liaise with stakeholders and provide clear and accurate written documentation.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to prepare reports, documents and project materials.
* Demonstrated ability to provide administrative and coordination support to project teams.
* Experience supporting meetings, including preparing agendas, compiling papers and recording meeting outcomes.
* Willingness and ability to travel occasionally.
