The AI Sales Manager – ANZ (Native AI) will drive enterprise AI opportunities across Australia and New Zealand. The role requires the ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed environment, collaborating across internal teams and external ecosystem partners to shape and close complex AI opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a Native AI sales strategy across the ANZ region
* Identify and pursue enterprise AI transformation opportunities
* Build and manage a strong pipeline aligned with bookings targets
* Engage senior enterprise stakeholders including CIOs, CTOs and Chief Data Officers
* Shape complex multi-partner AI deals involving AI vendors, hyperscalers and data platforms
* Work closely with account managers and industry hunters to expand opportunities
* Collaborate with alliance teams and ecosystem partners to develop joint value propositions
* Leverage hyperscaler funding programs to accelerate customer adoption of AI solutions
* Represent HCLTech in strategic AI conversations with customers and partners
* Stay current with developments in the AI ecosystem and enterprise AI adoption trends
Required Experience
* Track record of hunting and closing complex deals
* Experience selling AI, cloud, data or digital transformation solutions
* Ability to orchestrate ecosystem-led deals across multiple partners
* Strong executive engagement capability with senior enterprise stakeholders
* Existing relationships within enterprise organisations across ANZ
Additional Skills and Expertise
* Minimum one year experience selling AI-related solutions in the ANZ market as part of a platform, cloud or enterprise technology solution
* 10+ years in IT sales related role
* Strong understanding of the AI ecosystem including OpenAI, Anthropic and NVIDIA
* Passion for AI and understanding of emerging enterprise AI use cases
* Ability to establish compelling events and enterprise AI use cases in collaboration with clients and ecosystem partners
* Experience orchestrating co‑selling opportunities across hyperscalers and AI partners
* Strong communication, collaboration and influence skills within a matrixed organization
