With a reputation for quality, service, and long-standing relationships with builders, designers, and retail customers, this employer is expanding and seeking a driven Sales Consultant to join their team.
About the Role
We are looking for a confident and motivated Sales Consultant to join the Gold Coast team (Helensvale, Ashmore). While previous flooring experience is beneficial, it's not essential. What matters most is your experience and skills in sales, as well as your ability to connect with customers, and deliver results.
In this role, you will:
* Guide retail customers and trade accounts through flooring product selections.
* Build and maintain relationships with builders, developers, and designers.
* Quote, manage orders, and ensure a smooth end-to-end sales process.
* Use CRM and point-of-sale systems to manage enquiries and track conversions.
About You
Essentials:
* Proven sales experience (industry background not required).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Tech-savvy, organised, and confident in using systems.
* Current driver's licence and own car (company car offered after 6 months).
Desirable:
* Experience managing builder/trade accounts.
* Excellent attention to detail and time management.
* Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in a team.
Salary, Commission & Benefits
* Base salary: $60K–$70K + Super (starting at lower end with quick growth potential).
* Uncapped commission: 10% on all sales above $25K per month (realistic $30K+ expected).
