Accountabilities:
Oversee safety performance and management practices within Mine Maintenance, providing safety leadership across the department and MRM workforce.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies aligned with both long-term and short-term objectives.
Ensure optimal performance of mobile equipment and fixed infrastructure services for mining operations.
Streamline innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the Mine Maintenance department.
Lead the Maintenance department, fostering a strong team culture and enhancing employee capabilities to support strategic goals.
Experience:
Extensive background in leading and developing maintenance teams and contracts within the mining and resources sector, particularly in large-scale heavy equipment environments.
Proven ability to create integrated teams comprising members from Mine Maintenance, Mine Planning, and Equipment OEMs, ensuring a unified focus on equipment and plant performance across all operations.
In-depth knowledge of component Lifecycle Management (LCM), with the ability to track, investigate, and develop maintenance engineering solutions for all mine equipment fleets and fixed plants.
Proficient in collaborating with Mine Engineering groups to create mechanical maintenance schedules that support mine development and expansion plans.
Wide-ranging experience in developing maintenance inspection and tracking processes to ensure cost-effective maintenance methods are applied across all mine fleets.
Skilled in developing and implementing mining and maintenance schedules in collaboration with corporate management, addressing technical, scheduling, and cost considerations, including peak availability, utilization, and productivity for all Mobile Equipment Fleets and Fixed Plant Mining equipment.
Experienced in creating base reusability guidelines for parts in components to achieve cost reductions.
Comprehensive understanding of maintenance labor and repair contracts.
Onboarding Process:
A pre-employment medical including Drug & Alcohol testing will be part of the onboarding process.
NT Resident OR willingness to relocate to Darwin (if you are not already an NT Resident).
