Senior Payroll Specialist – Temp Contract

ASR Recruitment is partnering with one of the region's most established community-focused organisations to recruit a Senior Payroll Specialist on a temporary contract. With a major HRIS project underway, this role requires someone who can hit the ground running and confidently manage end-to-end payroll while supporting process and system improvements.
What you'll be doing
* Managing full-function payroll for a large and diverse workforce
* Ensuring compliance with Awards, Enterprise Agreements and legislation
* Administering superannuation, PAYG, FBT, workers' compensation and terminations
* Supporting payroll system enhancements (TechnologyOne HRIS)
* Responding to and resolving complex payroll queries
What we're looking for
* Immediate Start Availability
* Minimum 3 years' end-to-end payroll experience in a high-volume environment
* Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and award interpretation
* Hands-on experience with TechnologyOne HRIS (essential)
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Resilient, adaptable and able to hit the ground running
* Essential: own WFH setup (reliable internet, workspace, equipment)
* Essential: current or completed Police Check within the last 12 months
