About the Role
Mental health professionals play a vital role in supporting consumers across the Lower Mid North Coast.
This exciting opportunity involves providing high-quality assessment, care coordination, intervention, and follow-up for adults experiencing mental health concerns. As part of this role, you will provide comprehensive support to individuals and families, working closely with healthcare providers and community services.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Assessment, care planning, and contemporary mental health practice
* Working with consumers, families, carers, GPs, Community Managed Organisations, and other service providers
* Trauma-informed care principles and effective communication
* Specific Duties:
* Provide assessment, care planning and contemporary mental health practice
* Work in a consumer, family and carer-focused way
* Understand and apply trauma-informed care principles
* Communicate effectively and build strong therapeutic and professional relationships
* Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
* Manage competing clinical demands and maintain professional boundaries
* Consult with GPs, CMOs and other service providers
* Commit to ongoing learning, evidence-based practice and service improvement
* A positive, collaborative and flexible approach to the team
* Be able to drive in NSW and interstate, and willing to travel for work-related purposes
