Part-Time Quality Manager (Electronic CDMS & ISO Systems) – Perth or Brisbane (Remote Considered)
About the role
A part-time Quality Manager is required to manage and maintain our electronic Controlled Document Management System (CDMS) and quality records, ensuring documentation compliance with ISO ****, ISO *****, ISO ***** and ISO ***** requirements.
This position is focused purely on document and record control, with no production or field responsibilities, and would suit an experienced Quality professional seeking a flexible, desk-based role.
Key responsibilities
Maintain and administer the electronic CDMS, ensuring all controlled documents and records are current, approved and correctly classified in line with ISO ****, ISO *****, ISO ***** and ISO *****.
Oversee document lifecycle activities including creation, review, revision control, archiving and obsolescence, ensuring version control and full traceability.
Ensure that documented information (policies, procedures, forms, templates, records) complies with applicable ISO standards and internal governance requirements.
Coordinate periodic document reviews with process owners and follow up to close out actions in a timely manner.
Prepare and maintain registers, indexes and evidence files to support internal and external audits against ISO ****, ISO *****, ISO ***** and ISO *****.
Provide guidance to staff on document control practices, CDMS use, and formatting/structuring documents to meet standard requirements.
Skills and experience
Proven experience in a Quality Manager, Quality Coordinator or Document Control role within an ISO-certified environment (ideally covering one or more of ISO ****, ISO *****, ISO ***** and ISO *****).
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in ISO-certified environments is required.
Strong working knowledge of electronic document management and control principles, including version control, approval workflows and audit trails.
High level proficiency with SharePoint for document libraries, permissions, workflows and metadata, or similar enterprise document platforms.
Hands-on SharePoint experience is mandatory for this two.
Excellent attention to detail, written communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple document streams and deadlines.
Comfortable working independently in a remote or semi-remote setting, with proactive communication and stakeholder engagement.
Location, hours and flexibility
Role can be based in Perth (WA) or Brisbane (QLD), with part-time hours to be mutually agreed (e.g. 2–3 days per week or equivalent spread across the week).
Remote or hybrid working arrangements will be considered for suitably experienced candidates, subject to reliable connectivity and availability during core business hours.
This position is ideal for an experienced Quality Manager seeking a stable, desk-based role with a strong focus on documentation rather than operational or site-based activities.
