About the Team & Office: Join Brisbane's #1 breakfast show, Stav, Abby & Matt, on B105, and be part of a passionate, high-performing team dedicated to creating top-quality content for our amazing Brisbane listeners. You'll lead a team of incredibly creative and passionate producers, and work with our on-air talent to craft each show to make a consistently brilliant product. You'll coach and develop producers and talent, run the daily plan, prioritising stories, guest strategy, and integrations while coordinating Promotions, Sales, News, Audio and Digital. You build a resilient, high-performance culture that turns live curveballs into great radio and consistent ratings outcomes for our Brisbane audience.
What You'll Need
Extensive live radio experience, ideally in breakfast or drive formats, with a clear understanding of what makes great content for a metro audience.
Proven ability to set creative direction, lead planning sessions and develop show tactics and story arcs that deliver standout content.
Strong leadership and team management skills, capable of motivating and guiding producers and talent while maintaining operational discipline.
A strong understanding of multiplatform content, capable of thinking about content treatments for social media and podcasting as well as broadcast radio.
Excellent editorial judgement and understanding of the target audience, so that you know exactly what makes for great talkable content for Brisbane.
Proven experience delivering a range of diverse content; from light-hearted entertainment topics to sensitive news stories, as well as complex story arcs involving multiple stakeholders and moving parts.
Demonstrated ability to receive and implement feedback, and take direction as per the show and station strategy.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including proven experience working within creative teams, in high-pressure environments and with high-profile on-air talent.
Demonstrated organisational skills and attention to detail, capable of being across multiple moving parts at any one time.
