Your Role B&D Group is creating a new Embedded Systems Engineer role to strengthen our embedded software capability within the Systems Electronics team. This role is primarily focused on designing, developing and maintaining embedded software on microcontroller-based systems used across our product portfolio. While electronics experience is welcomed, this role is software-led. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we build embedded software—introducing modern development practices, CI/CD and automation in an environment where processes are still being developed rather than already mature. Essential Strong experience in embedded software development for microcontroller-based systems Hands-on experience with RTOS (platform not critical) Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and build automation Strong autonomy and ability to drive work independently Desirable Experience with motor control systems Exposure to BLE, Wi‑Fi or wireless communication technologies Experience with Nordic, STM32 or similar MCU platforms Electronics / PCB design capability (advantageous, not required) Your Background Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science or similar Industry background is flexible – experience is transferable from consumer electronics, automation, medical devices or related sectors Depth of capability and autonomy matters more than years of experience Why Join Us?
