The Advanced Manufacturing Manager will lead the development and execution of strategies to leverage technological advancements, optimize manufacturing processes, and drive performance within the Siding Products Group. Responsibilities include aligning team activities with business objectives to achieve cost savings, measurable benefits, and strong ROI. The role involves conceptualizing, standardizing, and implementing technology, tools, and data analytics to streamline processes, improve product quality, and boost productivity. Leading the integration of advanced manufacturing technologies such as automation, robotics, AI, predictive maintenance, and IoT is key to transforming culture and delivering results. The candidate must stay current with emerging trends and ensure adoption of relevant innovations. Oversight of large-scale projects, including new technology deployments, data analytics, and process improvements aligned with Industry 4.0 strategies and CAPEX planning, is essential.
Essential duties include: Lead the design and execution of advanced manufacturing strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality using Industry 4.0 technologies. Develop automation strategies aligned with long-term business planning. Collaborate with plants and functions to align objectives with Industry 4.0 priorities. Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team fostering continuous improvement and innovation. Work with IT, RPG, and IPG to benchmark and implement advancements in reliability and Industry 4.0. Monitor current trends and technologies for application to SPG. Perform other duties as assigned. Is this job for you? Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (electrical, chemical, mechanical, industrial) or similar discipline. Minimum 10 years of professional experience leading engineering initiatives in manufacturing. At least 3 years of people management experience. Strong business acumen with ability to identify improvement opportunities for financial benefit. Experience with digital tools such as ERP, MES, and BI systems. Understanding of digital technologies, data analysis, adaptability, collaborative approach, innovation, strong communication, empowerment skills, and a focus on continuous learning. Compensation The national pay range is $111,000 to $177,000 annually, with actual pay varying based on region, experience, and other factors. The role includes an annual bonus targeted at 15% of base salary, bringing total target cash compensation to $127,650 - $203,550.
