The Role
We are seeking a highly organised, detail‐focused Payroll Coordinator to join our People team in Moorabbin, Victoria. In this critical role, you'll support the delivery of accurate, timely, end‐to‐end payroll services while ensuring compliance with industrial instruments, legislation and reporting obligations. You'll work closely with employees, leaders and external payroll partners to ensure a seamless payroll experience.
What You'll Do
* Execute fortnightly pay runs with precision
* Provide accurate advice on payroll processes, legislation and obligations
* Respond to employee payroll queries with a customer-first mindset
* Support employees and leaders with payroll systems and processes
* Maintain HRIS data integrity and ensure accurate payroll information
* Assist in developing payroll documentation, workflows and continuous improvements
* Administer payroll controls, ATO obligations, leave reconciliations, back payments and adjustments
* Support internal/external audits and provide payroll reporting
* Collaborate with Finance, People & Culture and external payroll providers
* Promote our values and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives
What You Bring
* Strong understanding of payroll processes
* Excellent attention to detail and deadline management
* Advanced numeracy and strong technology capability (including MS Excel)
* Ability to build strong relationships across the organisation
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
* A critical eye for data accuracy and system integrity
* Minimum 2 years' experience with Chris21/iChris
You'll also need (or be able to obtain)
* National Police Check
