The Infrastructure Directorate is the City of Stirling's largest and most diverse Directorate, managing many of the City's important assets and services while delivering a multi-million-dollar portfolio of projects. This Directorate is responsible for the ongoing delivery of the City's sustainability program, as well as contributing heavily to the City of Stirling's vibrant local economy, liveable neighbourhoods and thriving communities.
**About the Positions**
We have a permanent Plant Operation position available in the Construction area of Engineering Services. We're looking for experienced operators with a background in general roadworks maintenance. You'll be working with brand-new machinery like graders, water trucks, and excavators.

**Key Responsibilities**
In this hands-on role, you'll conduct safety risk assessments and actively participate in pre-start meetings. Your responsibilities include;
- Operate a variety of machines including Roller, Six-Wheeler, Skid-Steer, Watercart, Excavator, Loader
- Minor traffic management
- Spotting works
- General roadworks maintenance including carparks, roundabouts, laneways, soak wells, drainage upgrades and road traffic upgrades
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of construction activities
**About You**
- Minimum 'HR' Class Driver's Licence
- Minimum 2 years experience in civil and urban environments, construction industry background is desirable
- Basic Worksite Traffic Management Accreditation
- Certificates to Operate Nominated Construction Plant
- Demonstrated ability to work safely
- Safety Awareness Training Certificate

These positions are Level 5 Outside Workforce Agreement positions which attract a salary from $70,970.82 - $74,200.52 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation.
