Lead Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced Lead Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Adelaide-based community club.
This iconic venue hosts over ninety harness racing meetings annually, featuring function rooms, a bistro, gaming lounge, and bar. As the successful candidate, you will lead all aspects of hospitality operations, reporting directly to the CEO and playing a pivotal role in the club's continued growth and success.
* Oversee day-to-day venue operations, including bistro, gaming, functions, and bar areas
* Provide strong leadership and direction to all departments and staff
* Drive a positive team culture focused on service excellence and accountability
* Manage recruitment, training, rostering, performance management, and compliance with relevant legislation
* Collaborate with the CEO on strategic planning and reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior leadership or manager role in a club or hospitality venue
* Proven leadership ability in a dynamic environment
* HR experience and ability to build and manage teams
* Strong understanding of gaming and hospitality service delivery
* Demonstrated financial acumen and experience managing budgets and KPIs
* RSA and RSG certifications (mandatory)
