Remuneration: $60.85 - $62.82 per hour + 12% Superannuation + Salary Packaging
Location: Campbelltown Hospital - Emergency Department

About the Role
As the Clinical Nurse Educator, you will provide leadership in clinical education, support staff development and facilitate evidence‐based practice across the Emergency Department and Short Stay Unit. Working collaboratively with Nursing and Medical leadership, you will foster a culture of continuous learning, professional growth and patient‐centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate orientation, onboarding and transition programs for nursing staff.
- Support graduate nurses, new starters and staff undertaking specialty emergency education.
- Deliver education sessions, simulation training and clinical competency assessments.
- Provide clinical support and mentorship at the bedside.
- Facilitate quality improvement initiatives and promote evidence‐based practice.
- Support staff to achieve professional development goals and career progression.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications in Emergency Nursing and/or Clinical Education.
- Extensive emergency nursing experience.
- Demonstrated experience in education, mentoring and clinical leadership.
- Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Passion for supporting staff development and fostering a positive learning culture.
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a postgraduate qualification in a relevant clinical field or education or a combination of the two.
- Demonstrated understanding of competency‐based assessment with experience in education/clinical teaching and developing clinical programmes based on adult learning principles.
- Evidence of safe, compassionate quality care that is culturally responsive.
- Effective communication and engagement with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team.
- Capacity to resolve conflicts professionally and demonstrate critical thinking in evidence‐based nursing care.
- Participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement activities.
