The Employment Consultant plays a vital role in supporting Real Futures’ mission to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through sustainable employment opportunities.

What will you be doing?
* Provide case management for aspirants receiving Ongoing Support and Post Placement Support services
* Build and maintain positive relationships with employers
* Conduct workplace visits
* Maintain regular contact with aspirants, offering mentoring, motivation, and guidance
* Refer, book, and complete Ongoing Support Assessments with assigned assessors
* Collect and record all required evidence to support and process employment outcomes
* Utilise JobAccess and the Supported Wage System
* Prepare and submit accurate documentation for Ongoing and Post Placement Support outcomes
* Maintain detailed and compliant case notes in Job Ready Live
* Ensure all activities comply with IEA Agreement, WHS, and organisational policies and procedures
Who are we looking for?
* Someone who as the ability to overcome objections and break down employment barriers that exist for people
* Ability to deliver efficient and effective strategies to positively engage with employers and build sustainable relationships
* Awareness of vulnerabilities and the positive effects of employment
* Effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
* An understanding or ability to learn how to work with potential employers to source employment
* Well-developed problem-solving skills

To be considered:
* Have full working rights in Australia
* Have a current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
* Complete an Australia History Criminal Check
* Have a current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check before employment
* Ability to work Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm
