About the Role:

We're looking for a passionate and self-motivated Sales Development Manager to lead and grow Penrite's presence across Karratha and surrounding areas to Northwest Western Australia. This hybrid, field-based role offers the opportunity to engage with a diverse customer base across trade, retail, transport, mining and industrial sectors unique to this region.

You will take ownership of building strong local relationships, drive sales growth, and expanding our market footprint - supported by a trusted Australian brand and a dedicated national sales team.

Reporting directly to the Zone Manager, this role suits a results-driven professional who thrives working independently and is skilled at developing regional business opportunities in a dynamic and evolving market like Northwest WA. If you\'re a true hunter for B2B opportunities and can farm our existing customer base also, then this is a great opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to trade and retail customers
* Build and maintain strong long-term relationships across your territory
* Proactively identify new business opportunities through fieldwork and local knowledge
* Attend trade events, expos, and regional customer meetings to promote Penrite products
* Provide timely reporting on territory performance and customer feedback
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure excellent service and supply
* Tender submissions for commercial, industrial, civil, mining and transport prospects

What We're Looking For

* 6+ years' experience in business development and field sales across regional areas (automotive or commercial/trade-related preferred)
* Prior tenure with a major oil brand or a reseller/distributor of a major oil and lubricant company
* Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets and grow market share
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Organised and self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously across a wide rural area
* Full Australian work rights and current driver's licence
* Competitive salary ($110k-$130k) + super + bonus + car.
